Free Admission, $50 off to the Wellness & Aquatic Center this Saturday

CP&R's Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center is a staple of the community serving nearly 13,000 members annually as well as thousands of guests who flock to the center for it's state of the art fitness offerings, classes, and of course, the fan favorite outdoor waterpark during the summer months. The center will host its biggest day of the year this Saturday, January 2, 2016 on Community Wellness Day. The event will allow for any member of the community to utilize the center free of charge - the perfect opportunity to bring your family to enjoy the indoor pool, diving boards, and other amenities - as well as great time to check-out the state of the art fitness equipment and 60+ top notch fitness classes offered each week ranging from Zumba, Cardio Party, spin class, yoga, target, and many more. In addition to the free admission, the center will be discounting each membership $50 on Saturday only for new enrollees or those wishing to renew their contract for the 2016 year

Arrow Play

CP&R's NEW Arrow Play combines archery with the fun of a hands on moving setting. Similar to paintball, laster tag, or dodge ball, participants will be given a  bow and 2 S.A.F.E. arrows that are cushioned arrows that can be shot at your opponent. Participants will start out with two arrows and be placed on two different teams while trying to eliminate their opponents one by one by hitting them with the arrows. The next Arrow Play event will be Saturday, November 21 at the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center from 6-8pm; cost is $10. 2 Ways to win a FREE 6 Month Family Membership to the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center THIS MONTH!  CP&R is offering two different ways for you twin a free 6 month family membership to the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center in October! Join us for the all new Floating Pumpkin Patch at the Wellness & Aquatic Center on Saturday, October 24 as part of the Monster Dash & Bash event. The Floating Pumpkin Patch will take place after the Monster Dash 5K where all runners will participate in their Halloween costumes. Entrees in the Floating Pumpkin Patch will jump into the outdoor pool to pick their pumpkin, and one lucky pumpkin will be marked to win a FREE 6 month membership.   Program Information Spring Session 2015 Rock Climbing – Hurricane Creek Park – Estimated Duration: 3-4 hours Date: April 11 at 9am Participants will enjoy a fun outing scaling up the rock bluffs at Hurricane Creek Park with the aid of ropes and other professional gear. All essential climbing equipment will be provided and guided by our professional instructor, John Wesley McCrary. Participants need to bring: ·          Closed toed shoes ·          Water/water bottle ·          Snacks ·          Backpack ·          Any needed medications ·          Rain jacket ·          Coat/jacket/layers depending on weather   Wilderness Survival – Hurricane Creek Park – Estimated Duration: 3-4 hours Date: April 18 at 9am Participants will learn through hands on examples and experience.
